ACTICIDE SF is a technical preservative for cutting fluids, metalworking fluids, alkaline systems and starch-based products, incl. adhesives.

Applications:

  • additives to concrete
  • metalworking fluids
  • water cooling systems
  • adhesives
  • products based on lignosulfonates
  • starch-based adhesive

Dosages:

  • 0.05 to 0.30% depending on the required properties of the product and terms of use.

Spectrum of activity:

  • Bacteria
  • Molds
  • Yeast

Chemical and Physical Characteristics:

  • Composition: biocide based on formaldehyde donor (hydroxymethylureide) and sodium pyrithione (3.00 - 3.40%)
  • Appearance: yellow or brown liquid
  • Odour: characteristic
  • Refractive index: (20 ° C): 1,4670 – 1,4750
  • Density: (20 ° C): 1,300 – 1,360 g/cm3
  • Solubility in water: mixable with water, as well as with most low molecular weight alcohols and glycols
  • Stability in application: * light stable, temperature influences up to 80° C in compositions of a pH value from 7 to 11
